Plymouth Forum: Interim Minister Search Committee

Join the Interim Minister Search Committee for a presentation and discussion of the work of this group — our tasks, progress and timeline. We have begun our work by gathering input from both pastoral and lay staff as well as many Plymouth members. We have also benefited from a meeting with our conference minister, Mike Denton. Based on this input and other work, we have prepared a statement of what we seek in an interim minister and particular issues Plymouth as a congregation is facing at this time. Please come and join in the work and opportunity that this transition period offers.

Graceful Giving: An Alternative Gift Fair

This year’s Alternate Gift Fair will take place on December 7 in Hildebrand Hall both before and after the 11:00 a.m. service. Do you want to give holiday gifts to your friends and family, yet yearn for an alternative to the holiday commercialism that surrounds us? If so, this Gift Fair is for you! Many non-profit organizations will be present to sell items and offer opportunities for you to make donations. Please save the date and plan to come! — Ardy Bergman

Celebrate and Give Thanks: Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 23

New friends, familiar faces - everyone's invited to Plymouth's annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 23, right after the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Plan now to join us as we gather together to share a festive turkey dinner and to honor those members who have been part of our Plymouth Family for over fifty years. Music, memories and laughter abound.

Volunteers are needed! Sign up at the Thanksgiving Dinner ticket tables to share your talents on either Saturday, November 22, or Sunday, November 23, as we prepare this meal. We have room for all - table-setters, apple cutters, turkey carvers, food and beverage servers, and a clean-up crew to clear the tables after the meal. The more the merrier!

Dinner tickets must be purchased in advance, and will be available at the kiosk in the Lounge this Sunday from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m., and from noon - 12:45 p.m. Tickets cost $9.00 for adults and $4.50 for children 12 and under, with a $27.00 maximum per family; high chairs are available. Childcare for children age 6 and under will be provided if reserved no later than November 16. Parking will be available in both Plymouth and IBM garages until 2:00 p.m.
